Nestled in my secret cocoon
Amongst colourful leaves
Of unspoken, unfinished dreams,
I rest in the quietness of my own heart
Curled up in a chrysalis of light,
Soothed by serenity,
I gather in energies of my beautiful visions,
Resting cosily, and waiting
As the season turns,
I let the dark stillness of clear winter
Enfold me and take me deeper within,
Until the bright spring awakens
My soul with joy
In resplendence, I emerge
In the soft summer sunlight
From my delicate cocoon;
Flying free,
With radiant rainbow wings unfurled
